At East Riding Pest Management, we’re proud to support the conservation of the honeybee population. Unlike other pests, honeybees are protected and must not be exterminated. Instead, we offer a safe, ethical solution by working with a trusted local beekeeper based in Hornsea to remove and rehome honeybee colonies without causing harm.  If you discover bees in your property — particularly in chimneys, wall cavities, or roof spaces — it’s important to act quickly and correctly. Our team has the experience to assess the situation and coordinate safe removal without putting the colony or your property at risk.

Once we've confirmed that you're dealing with honeybees rather than wasps or other insects, we’ll arrange for a site visit alongside our experienced beekeeper. Every situation is different, so we take the time to carefully assess the size and location of the colony before any work begins.

The removal process is carried out with great care, using non-invasive methods to ensure the safety of both the bees and your property. This often involves accessing chimneys, loft spaces, or wall cavities, depending on where the colony has established itself. Once removed, the bees are safely transported and rehomed in a dedicated hive, where they can continue to thrive under the care of our trusted beekeeper.

We’re committed to offering a service that respects the important role honeybees play in our ecosystem while helping our customers resolve potentially disruptive or worrying infestations in a responsible and eco-conscious way.
“Excellent service from a local company. Had a bees nest removed from my loft and the company even sent me some photographs of a local bee keeper where they where re-homed.”
